Our Sydney Sessions

Our sessions are based on the Athletics Australia FIT model training guidelines for long-term athlete development. We aim to provide a fun and engaging environment for children and teens to develop their physical literacy and sport-specific skills. These sessions are designed to be age-appropriate and inclusive, catering to the needs and abilities of each child.

Which session is the right fit?

Athletic Allstars

Fun, high-energy sessions for young athletes (ages 5–12) who want to learn the fundamentals and improve overall athletic skills. Sessions will be differentiated based on training age and stage of development.

Development and Track Squads

A more focused and specialised form of training for young athletes looking to sharpen speed, endurance, and technique, and take their skills to the next level

Performance Squad and Teen Endurance

For High-school athletes training to boost speed, endurance, and racing performance while thriving in a supportive squad environment.

Before School Athletic Allstars (Age 6-12)

Start the morning right with our energetic Before School Athletic Allstars sessions! Our program is designed to help children learn good run technique, get fitter and faster, and have fun at the same time. Through a variety of activities, team challenges and games, our program promotes teamwork and sportsmanship whilst also improving confidence and social skills. Children will be safely walked to Killarney Heights Public School after the session ensuring you can confidently get on with your day.

Sessions are differentiated to suit the training age and developmental level of the child and ensure they are challenged appropriately and carnival ready!

Learn correct run technique, get fitter and faster, and have fun at the same time. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable environment where kids can develop their fitness and athletic skills to ensure your child is well prepared for their athletics and cross country carnivals, as well as building their speed & agility for sport.

Sessions will be differentiated to allow for the training age and developmental level of the participants. This may mean that the group is split for some components of the session to ensure they are being challenged appropriately with some specific and focused training to best prepare for carnivals and competition.

DEVELOPMENT SQUAD: Speed & Endurance (Age 11+)

Join a squad where young athletes don't just train—they grow, compete, and have fun together! Every session kicks off with a dynamic, technique based warm-up, then athletes split into sprint and endurance groups to work on their own goals.

Sprints: sharpen acceleration, top-end speed, technique, and power.

Distance: build aerobic strength, pacing, and speed endurance.

Along the way, athletes make friends, share challenges, celebrate progress, and develop a genuine love of running and competing.

This is more than training—it's about becoming your best self, enjoying every step, and feeling part of a team that supports your journey toward higher-level performance.

Suitable for sprinters, middle distance and cross country runners, and anyone wishing to improve their speed or endurance for sport.

In our fun-filled athletics sessions, kids explore a wide range of activities that develop their fundamental movement skills, coordination, and fitness. All of these activities are designed to be engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate for each child. We teach the foundational run, jump and throw skills that allow your child to be athletics carnival ready!

Children will be safely walked to Curl Curl North Public School after the session ensuring you can confidently get on with your day.

Fun, play-based sessions that introduce young athletes to running, jumping, throwing, and movement skills. Kids build balance, coordination, and confidence while learning teamwork, developing a love of being active, and getting a head start on school cross country and athletics events.

These sessions will be differentiated to allow for the age and ability level of the participants. This may mean that the group is split for some components of the session to ensure they are being challenged appropriately.

For high school athletes who love long-distance running (3k+) and want to improve for athletics, cross country, fun runs, or general fitness.

After a dynamic warm-up and basic drills, sessions focus on:

  • Improving stamina and aerobic fitness
  • Developing pacing and race strategy
  • Increasing running efficiency and speed endurance

Join a supportive team of like-minded teens, push each other to improve, and enjoy the journey together. Start your day strong with a 6:30am session, training, having fun, and bringing out the best in each other!

If your child has a passion for running and a love for the great outdoors, our Trail Lovers session is the perfect opportunity to nurture their skills and ignite their sense of adventure.

Not only will your child get to experience the thrill of trail running, and explore our beautiful bushland and coastline, it's a great opportunity to build friendships with like minded people who LOVE to run.

This session is a perfect addition to your child's training week to build endurance in a chilled no-pressure environment and foster a love for outdoor fitness. Your child will build confidence, and learn about the importance of teamwork and perseverance.

Our Performance Squad is designed for motivated high school athletes aiming to take their speed, endurance, and overall athletic performance to the next level. This squad delivers advanced training that supports success in track and field, cross-country, and field-based sports.

Athletes complete a shared warm-up, then break into speed and endurance streams to target event-specific qualities.
Speed athletes develop acceleration, max velocity, technical efficiency, strength, and power.
Endurance athletes build aerobic capacity, race pace control, and high-level speed endurance.

With more challenging sessions, higher training expectations, and a focus on long-term athletic development, this squad is ideal for teens committed to competitive improvement.
